Working again with the amazing team at FIU Online, we painted this mural at
John G. Dupuis Elementary in less than four hours!

Working with the school’s principal, I sent a short video describing the student assignment that teachers could share with their students. The video encouraged the students to illustrate their love of JGD- using pictures to describe what makes their school special. The drawings were scanned and sent to me so I could put together the mural mock up. After arriving in Miami, I went to campus early in the morning to use my projector and my new favorite material, dustless chalk, to map about the mural. FIU Online had their whole team on campus this day, working on everything from gardening to painting.

Together with about 12 volunteers, we painted this adorable mural in three uniquely Miami colors that the students and staff love.
